Banks Muffler

Yesterday I Called Banks to see if they sold just muffler only, not the whole

Catback Kit, the sales Person on the other end Questioned me as to why.

I just wanted to see if they Did sell Muffler only, and see how much...he told

me the Muffler was $183, and the complete CatBack system was $504....

that is expensive for just muffler.

I want to find a Muffler that has the same Rumble as the Banks, but at a

slightly reduced Price....any help would be appriciated

thank you,
Fr8daddy

if you dont need the muffler with 3" inlets and outlets go with the muffler used for the jeeps its probably cheaper

I was also wondering, if the Stock exhuast pipes are mandrel bent, going over the rear axle. My stock pipes are 2 1/2 in 3 out.

I just want a nice rumble, with no drone in the cab.

You need a 18" Magnaflow muffler...

I just fitted a banks exhaust (cat back type, $400) yesterday, very little cab noise with a light foot on the gas but put your foot down and there is a rumble.
At 55 and 70MPH with cruise control on there is no more noise than the stock exhaust.

a 14" Magnaflow would sound the same in volume, and be just as deep toned, actually deeper, than the Banks muffler.

Also OEM exhausts are mandrel bent in very low grade stainless.
