i got 1 for u guys out there... I have stuffed an 07 f150 4.6 into a 97 f150 i am trying to decide how much difference there is with how the motor sits n the 2 different frames... i want to run LONG tube headers but cant afford DYNATECHS system on a limited budget trying to decide if its worth the RISK to buy headers for 04 to 08 n try n bolt em up my other option would b to get a set of headers for a 5.4 for the correct year but the block is a little wider (about 5 inches) n taller (about 3 inches) not much but there is a difference the exhaust ports/ bolt pattern r the same from head to head any suggestions??? really want long tubes over shorties just dont wanna go broke!!!

 

well, several guys have had good luck the pacesetters fitting the 4.6 equipped trucks

 

i have talked to pacesetter they dont seem to think that their 4x4 headers will work because im only a 2 wheeler not a 4x4 i laughed said id have way more room because i dont have any frt drivetrain i have a set ordered but they are back ordered for 6-8 weeks they say... this is the second time i have called ordered my 1st set n jan. or feb. only to have the company i ordered em from cancel the order bcuz they were backordered 6-8 weeks then, so i waited 2 months & reordered em called yesterday n they said they were still 6-8 weeks out... i said i called 2 months ago & was told the same thing then so i waited now ur telling me another 6-8 weeks how do i know that n 2 months that u guys wont tell me the same thing AGAIN... i need to get this thing moving outta the garage asap not n 2 months
