Magnaflow 3 Chamber

Alright all I've started my searching of the right sound for my 1997 4.6L Flareside. I've narrowed it down to Magnaflow. I found a vid on YouTube that has the sound I'm looking for, maybe not even that loud. here Anyone have any input on the 3 Chamber? I want something that isn't stock, but I'd like for it to be heard outside the cab, rather than in. As far a my reading goes, a 3 chamber 18" muffler should do just that (correct?). I know the video is of a SI/DO, but I'm going to stick with a SI/SO. I'll be leaving my stock cats and I just put shorties on so I assume that should affect the sound.

Thanks for taking the time to put my random thoughts together and you're input.

The thing about that muffler is that it doesn't flow near as good. But... if that is the perfect sound that your after then run with it. Your going to notice the sound a hell of lot more than your going to feel the power difference.

You may also consider a 24" straight threw magnaflow...

I'm not really going for performance here, just want to let it breath better. A few extra hp is never a bad thing though, would it be that noticeable going from the 3 chamber to a straight through?
