Upgrade question

Hey all,

Need some advice here. I drive an 06 F-150 Lariat Supercrew 5.4 ltr. and have a couple of upgrades I would like to do. One is the exhaust and the other is the cold air intake. I've already installed a Predator and am happy with the results.
As far as the exhaust magnaflow or flowmaster? Single to dual or dual to dual?

The other thing is the cold air intake. I am thinking of going with K&N.

I tow a 4000 lb trailer on the weekends every so often to different parts of Florida and once a year to Connecticutt. I am already using Royal Purple in the engine so I am thinking of changing the fluid in the transmission and differential as well to the same.

Thanks
Gene

i'm partial to flowmaster so i would suggest a single in, duel out 50 series. It has a nice aggressive sounds but isn't over the top. IF you want rambunctiously loud then i'd go with the 40 series mufler.

By the way i have a 50 series flowmaster single in/duel out

I have a Super 44 Si/DO on almost the same truck as yours...loud enough to know I'm there...not loud enough to upset the neighbors...and not obnoxious in the cab. This is the only video I have so far:

Hello!

John (that TruckGuy youngin') is right on. Gotts/DWV intake mod - it's in the Tech articles/How-to section.

Here ya go ...

K&N is C.R.A.P.

I had been told that Ford truck owners help each others and they were so right. Gentlemen I appreciate all the input. Going to work on that soon and post pics as soon as I get that and other projects done.
