if all your cats are still on the truck and all you did was put on a si/do muffler you will be fine, truck shouldnt be that loud to get pulled over. Just lay off that gas pedal when ya see a cop.

Hey man, I wouldn't worry about it. I have Dual Flowmaster Super 44's and I have no problems around the plains. I like in Wichita, KS. I have taken my truck to Colorado, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, and Texas. I have had NO problmes anywhere. Your safe. By KS law, as long as you have at least 2 cats, its legal.

Both right, but if your worried about it still, I would just look up your local sheriffs office online, they should have a link in there to city and county laws applicable to you.

A single in dual out with the stock cats with a muffler should be plenty quiet for any state.

where I live there is a sound law, one for the day and one for night.

130DB at day, and 110DB at night limit, I don't think a exhaust would be that loud.

then you need to stop romping on your truck, WOT blast attract more attention than the exhaust volume alone...

Don't worry as they are not load by any means. Technically, any modification to the oem exhaust is illegal (EPA) regs and every state has a law on the books that basically says if you modify the exhaust and it produces more noise than the oem system it is illegal.

Considering my family has been running modified exhaust on everything since the 1940's, yes there are police who will use any excuse to ticket you, even under the environmental laws 9ask me how I know) but if you're being a good boy you will be ok!

I ran LT Headers, Magnaflow 94106 cats straight piped for a while and never had any issues, so i think a Magnaflow SI/DO would be plenty ok...
