The reason it was dumped was because the guy wanted me to drive it for a few days to see if i liked the sound, then i would come back for the "hard work" all the bends i guess..also i was stumped on what tips to run as im not a real fan of the traditional strait out the back chrome tips most trucks have.
the reason for the SI/DO is $$$ i only wish i had the coin to get the true duals i want but i cant afford to drop $500.00 on exhaust.

So i am assuming if i finish them off with pipes and tips it should imrove the sound? and also improve the response of sound vs when i mash the pedal?

thanks

Getting the tailpipes fabbed and ran out would help lessen interior noise, and project it outside louder. Check out Summit Racing.com for help on finding tips.

The response time to the pedal is due to the electronic throttle body, no fix in that, minor improvement with custom tuning.

Ya, really a major sound difference with tail pipes. Why he even suggested that I don't know.

They close at 4 on saturday's, and i got there at 2..maybe that's why?
because if he wants me to choose a sound it cant be without pipes and tips..
guess thats why i come here!

I am going Saturday to get it "finished" and then we will see how it sounds, as far as response time with gas and exhaust "sound" would that be due to loss of back pressure from the stock exhaust? Because used to when i would let off the gas the truck would slow itself down, now it doesnt and i feel like i am abusing my brakes!

Yes new exhaust thats opened up can reduce backpressure. Not a bad thing, new brakes are much cheaper than a new transmission.

Thanks for the tip Darren, i had been trying to find a good place!

i just ordered these tips for my truck, i plan on having them ran just behind the rear wheels just enough past the fender to show the imprint.
2 1/2" inlet 3" out

Hopefully they will look good, if not they will be for sale haha..
