2004s have 4, and no cats with no muffler will sound horrible.

well man i got strate dule pipes and i left the 4 cat on it sounds good but man just leave them on

Thanks. $850 is a lot for a cat back i got my old one wich was a single in dual out super 40 cat back for $290. If I remove two cats and muffler and just leave the other two cats will it be louder than having my old super 40 setup?

take the 2 rear cats off 99.9% of the time no one checks for them, my machanic said i can pass inspection even with the removal of the 2 rear cats which i may do this weekend, cause i have to have my truck loader casue all my friends trucks all ready are, i wouldnt worry about it take them off, and reaplce the 2 front cats with hi flow and wa la loud exaust

If you have emissions you might wanna keep em on. If not (like here in florida) you can do whatever you want. I took mine to the shop with em sawzalled off and the guy goes"I heard you from a mile away and told my buddy, here comes another open headers ford" hahaha they will do it if you have no cats. God I loved having it that loud but it got old and my super 44 with 2 high flows sounds sick.

no emissions check in WI... we just have cows up here!

no cats is a felony and could cost you a few thousand in fines if caught but that depends on the officer, they could just give you a fix it ticket.

That's why I love livin in Florida! Emissions is just another way the government steals our money...if you don't have emissions testing thinkof the chances of being pulled over and searched lol cops around here always ask what I've done to make my truck sound badass I just tell em its top secret and drive away
