What xpipe?

So where an what xpipe are you guys buying when running your true dual setups for the best performance. Are you guys running the 2.25 or 2.5? Right now i just have a cheap flopro si/so dumped.I really want more performance than sound!

Run an X pipe whatever size your system as is. Do not run a 2.25" X pipe on a 2.5" system for example.

Well when people get their true duals run a lot of people size down to 2.25" to retain back pressure, mine were done that way when I had them.

Mine are stock size 2.5" and they are fine but if I was to do it again I would do them as ChrisAU suggested.

My X-pipe was made by the exhaust shop. Magaflow makes a nice one if you prefer something premade.

You want to install the X-pipe as close to the engine as possible.

When you say as close to the engine as possible do you mean even before the cats or do you mean where the pipes Y at?

Yes, but not to retain back pressure. 2.25" with an X = max velocity and max exhaust scavenging for the best low RPM torque curve.

You can get the magnaflow knockoff for 30 on ebay, just go on e-bay and type in "x-pipe"

My exhaust guy fabricated it into my intermediate pipes, it works, but not to well. If I ever put in a real X pipe I will take that opportunity to get the $50 stainless one off ebay in 2.25" and convert to 2.25" duals.
