i wanna redo my intake. my stock intake sucks in air from the grill, so its cold air from the outside, a k&n just sucks in hot air from under the hood.

and from lookin at it i cant do a gotts mod on my '06

so anyone done anything like this for our trucks?

For the Super Duty there should be some type of restriction that you can upgrade pipe size with. 04+ gas trucks gotts mod is called the DMW mod.

When your driving down the road it is picking up cool air, seeing how the filter is in front of the motor, not behind it.

i just went through the technical article index, the gotts mod is listed as 2004-2008 and so is the DWV mod,

but they both exit out the wheel well, mine exits out the front of my truck. neither of these intakes are for my truck.

i guess ill just get a k&n or a volant
