Gibson Extreme Dual

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone has experience with the gibson extreme dual system. I'm looking to purchase one for my 97 f150 4x4, but cannot get a straight answer on the spare tire removal. I would prefer not to remove the tire. Does anyone know if i would need to remove the tire or not with this system?

Thanks!

I have a hard time believing that you will loose your spare tire. You may need to remove it install it easier, but you should be able to put it back. There are a lot of cat back systems out there that allow you to keep your spare tire.

You shouldn't even have to drop the spare at all. There wont be any issues.

I have an '07 and have installed the Gibson Extreme Dual Exhaust System on my truck and did not have any problems with the spare. There is plenty of room...

It's a non issue...

No I didn't have to remove the spare, not even loosen it as i've seen recommended.
