that tip looks good exiting there. what brand of tip is it?

I'm wanting to run a big single exhaust next time around too, but I will probably go with a 3" tailpipe exiting to a big diesel system size exhaust tip like yours. You might be giving up some torque with the 3.5" tailpipe. I'm sure others will chime in if I am mistaken on that one.

anyway, it looks good. I would sure like to hear a sound clip if you have a way of posting it.

thanks.

also, what is the inlet and outlet size of that flow 40? when did you make the jump to a 3.5" pipe? is it just muffler back or what? 5.4L?

thanks.

Ok i just measured it its a 3in pipe. From the cats where it goes to single pipe is were they made it go from stock to 3in. The inlet is 3in and the outlet is 3in. its a 4.6L. I am not sure what brand of tip it is.

I was curious about that too but didn't ask. The 2 chambers aren't available in any size thicker than 3" in. But they ran 3" from the Y pipe? Good! Looks like there are still some shops out there that know how to do a GOOD exhaust job, and not adapt to different sizes which kills velocity
