My 05 screw 5.4 had a flowmaster with duals on it when I bought it. I wanted a single behind the rear wheel with an RBP tip. One of my customers is a silent owner of a muffler shop. He got me a stainless magnaflow oval muffler around 14" long body. Not sure on part #. 2.5 in and 2.5 out. I had a local shop put it on and this thing is about silent. I need to know what magnaflow muffler to buy. You guys talk about the round mufflers. Is that the way to go? Should i just ditch the whole thing and buy a 3" y and a new 3" round muffler? Part #'s and any info would really help. I want the truck to sound mean. I had Banks on my last F150 and loved it. They just don't have the black tip look I'm after.

 

Round bodies are loud and very aggressive sounding with hi-flow cats. I would know, I have 2 of them!

I would scrap the 2.5" idea and go with a 3" Y-pipe, intermediate pipe, and muffler.

Which one should I get? Do you have a part #?
