Anyone have Before/After Vids w/Headers?

Like the title says, does anyone have or know of any videos of exhausts before and after adding headers? I'm strongly considering long tubes but I don't know how much the sound will change. I know it will get louder, but not sure of how the tone will change.

I'm thinking the performance gains would be pretty good, but I'll likely have to get Bill to tweak my custom tunes.

Um, if you get LTs, you WILL be pulled over because if your truck isn't attention grabbing enough as is??

The volume increase is incredible, usually 30% in volume, and a heart aching rev.

And I've never seen too many before and after videos of trucks with headers, just f-bodys and stangs. The performance increase is great, but I'll bet even you will get tired of the noise shortly after, and the cops will for sure hear it. Might need to change out mufflers after lol.

Awesome, thanks for the warning. I guess I'll hold off but it is something I want to do in the future for a little performance increase, especially on the low-end. Preciate it, Darren.

I actually just put long tubes on and have a video of my before sound. Didn't get one of the after yet but it will be exactly what you're looking for or it will at least help. The before isn't much but should give you an idea of the difference. Nothing more than idle and a few revs up to the 2 - 3 grand range. Winter time and cold up here and didn't have anyone who felt like standing in the cold for a drive by. Can't say I blame them. Will get them posted as soon as I can get the video.

i wish i had taken a before video before i put the longtubes on but its definetely a big difference in sound. Your truck right now sounds like mine on a cold startup. If you put longtubes on with that exhaust setup it would be absolutely stupid loud.

I know it's a 2v 5.4 but just a comparison to before and after.

Before: stock manifolds, pre cats, cats, si/do extreme..pretty tame

After: OBX LT and Magnaflow 94106 cats with turndowns just after the cats

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vcj0TlNhxH0

After: Same setup but with dual Spintech Super Pro Street 2.5" mufflers

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DWf5...eature=related

Result... Definite volume increase (I'm sure neighbors love it). Seems to have more of a pronounced rasp but that could just be how fords sound. Rev it up and it is just plain nasty, ear splitting volume

I took my mufflers off and put a Magnaflow X in instead of the shop's H and yeah it's loud but sounds kind of sloppy down low. Seems like it could use mufflers of any kind to clean up the low end and give better tone. Up high it still screams.
