Stopped by another shop that does all custom exhaust/turbo on the way home and they are recommending the 99356HM as a replacement. They said that the 94106 would just be like replacing stock for stock. The 99356HM is built for the larger V8 engines. He said he would put on whatever I wanted but he is highly recomending the 99356HM. Any thoughts from you guys?

I e-mailed or called (can't remember) Magnaflow when I was doing my search and they suggested the 99356HM as well. Probably because it was more expensive. I went with the 94106s.

Agreed.

No way it is stock for stock. The loudness increase is amazing.

Hmm, does that coupon code still work?

Close, he gives idiot advice. He knows the truth, he just wants the OP to buy the expensive @ss direct fit cats, instead of doing the more affordable 94106 cat swap out and O2 remount. Look for someone who will do what you want.

And all of the 94000 series cats will work for heavy GVWR V8 trucks. The 94106 is more than capable, and will let the engine holler.

It "bestoffer4" now. You can also use "clubgp".
