Nice truck.

Don't ruin it with that POS 44-series crappola ... they belong on chebbies, lol

The thing that needs to be 'dropped' is that muffler choice itself, and get something decent - like Borla.

Several people run the Super 44 but not without taking crap though, . Most have Hi-flow cats instead of factory ones, also. Here's the first example that comes to mind:

Dont dump it.. exit it before tire, or behind the tires.

44's sound okay with stock cats, but borla does sound better no doubt like MGD said. And, like Darren said, no dumped, run tips!

dont get it period had a buddy put one on his 5.4 expy and it was so raspy at 3-4,000 RPM and it poped a whole bunch. down low it sounds nice and deep but as you gain RPM it gets raspy.

one day we swaped took his flow 44 off and put my dynomax ultra flow and it sounded good threw the whole range and it even felt like it had more power.

i just put mine on and i really like it. i had it dumped but it was too loud to even sit in the cab. i put on a 18" tail and dumped it and it sounds really good. imo at least.

Everything from Flowmaster sounds meh. There are much better choices out there.

thats all i used to run was super 44s and i loved them until i got a super 40. that thing sounded mean on my 5.8.
i never got the chaance to put it on my 5.4 but the super 44 was raspy. it sounded good outside of the raspy area. i now have a 50 series and i like it alot. its mellow until i stand on it.

I have a super 44 on my truck and it sounds OK but not nearly loud enough in my opinion. Had a buddy of mine drive it past me while getting on it a bit and wasn't impressed at all with the volume and can't say I was all that impressed with the tone either. I definitely expected more and think I would go a different route if I had it to do over again. That said.....I'm still running the original cats so we'll see what happens once I get the long tubes and high flows installed.

OH.....Mine aren't dumped. Exit out each side directly behind the rear wheels.
