Well a mixture of both. The 2009 2v is the exact same as the '04 - '08, which actually is the same as the '99 - '03 model 4.6. The 3v I would imagine they would bolt up to, but not sure, could be different head work to it, other than just the valve work. Also the under hood clearance may be tighter, as every new model is more and more cramped under the hood, so its mostly a guess.

any recomendtions on who to get them from, because in my case aside from all the new plastic on top of the engine i have plenty of room down low. thanks for all your help btw

i am like 90% sure the 3v is different design than the others so they wouldnt fit.
