Flowmaster super 44s from a 05-09 mustang

Hey guys..

I am also part of a mustang club here in Hawaii and there is a member selling a pair of flowmaster super 44s made from his 05-09 mustang. 3 months old and selling for $100.00.

I currently run a SIDO flowmaster 2 chamber muffler on my 2004 XL 4.6V Triton. Sounds okay...but I want a bit louder..

Could I run these for my year Truck?

I don't have after market headers/no midpipe/cats all there, basically just the SIDO is under the truck...but I was thinking running true duals divorce with these...will these be louder?

any input would be great or any suggestions....

thanks

what size are the muffler inlet/outlets??

mufflers are universal for the most part just get your local exhaust shop to make your truck with true duals and a cross over pipe (H-pipe since you're wanting flowmasters) and run the exits to where you want 'em

They might be a hair louder dualed. The 44's sound good with stock cats. I say do it! Put in an H or X pipe too with the duals.

They're most likely 2.5" since that is what most Mustang exhausts are. True dual them with an X pipe and you'll be set. If they have tips welded on the outlets factory ( which they should unless the seller cut them ) then you can just have them installed like that for a dumped with tips finish.

Not for a truck. Just have your shop make it Its just gonna need 1 piece of 2" long pipe the same diameter of your exhaust, or 1/4" thinner, and weld it in right there the original Y pipe was.

The inlet's are 2.5 so she should be all good right?

No, keep it 2.5, I just said for the H pipe the middle connecting pipe in your H should be at least 2"s long, and keep it the same 2.5" diameter or 1/4" thinner ( 2.25 ) the H pipe connection bar, either way you'll be set.
