4.6 Screw Exhaust Questions

Hey what's up I am new to the forum but have been browsing and researching the site for quite some time. I am about to pull the trigger and put some exhaust on my 09 Screw but I have a few questions.

First, I want to run either a Flowmaster 40 or Super 44. Any opinions or suggestions as to which one? The guy I talked to at the shop said there is not a great deal of difference in the two, is this true?.

Also, I am not sure whether I want to run a SI/DO and 45 them or straight out the back. It seems that is standard.

My other idea was to run a SI/SO but hide it, almost dumping it but closer to the rear bumper. Anyone know how this might work, pros/cons?

Thanks for any info and the site is awesome!!!

There isn't a really big difference, unless by 40 you mean the Original 40 which is a more metallic grunt than the Delta designed 40 series and Super 44s.

Super 44 sounds good with stock cats, but sounds like crap with hi flows. Org. 40 sounds good with stock cats but sounds awesome with hi flows or no cats. Delta 40 is just a poor design all the way around.

44 is also raspier, and the 40 has a deeper growl and rumble.
