O2 Sensor ????s

Hey, I've a 2001 crewcab with the 4.6. I am needing to replace my o2 sensors and when I got under the truck to look I see that a PO has removed all the cats........ now only pipe.
My question: Do I need to worry about what I put in the rears, or will the stock ones be good to go?

Question #2: Bosch says the BS15717 are for the rear and the BS15664's for the front. Is there any difference between these besides the wire length? I read several guys here have used the cheaper 15717's in both positions. Is that cool?

Thanks for any pointers
Pax

Without a programmer to turn off the O2's, you will be looking at a CEL constantly and it will run like garbage. An easier solution would be a set of O2 simulators.

Replace with the same Bosch OEM sensors. Worth it, they lasted 10yrs another pair will last the same.

Thanks guys,

I guess I won't worry about the cats being gone and messing with the downstream O2 sensors.

So does anyone know if the front and the back sensors are the same except for different wire lengths?

Thanks
Pax
