exhaust exit problem!

O.k., here is the deal, I baught the Bullet and am having it installed Sat. on my '01 screw(5.4L) I was gonna go 3" from the y at the cats in to the bullet and 2.5" out to dual pipes 45'd behind the rear tires.

My buddy is teling me to go 45 before the rear tire with the Bullet! My question is : How bad is the drone gonna be if I do that? Does it make a difference if I 45 it before the rear tires as to if I 45 it after the rears(sound, drone, performance)?? He has got me all confused now! What do you guys reccommend for a bad *** sound? My way or his?

In front will probably sound better due to the fewer bends in the pipe, but it will also be a little louder. What cats are you running? Stock manifolds or headers?

The truck is a 2001 screw, I just want the thing to sound bad ***, but the drone I could do without! My dad has a Hemi durango with 45's and the thing drones so bad, you want to gouge your eyeballs out!!!

It will drone like crazy exiting before tire, and you cant run it out before both rear wheels, the drivers side will not allow it due to the fuel tank.

45'd behind the rear tires, or 45 out behind the passenger side tire (dual pipes/tips) like a harley

I have exhaust noise tolerances, the drone of that p'd me off more than my Silverado . I drove it up the road a mile and back, was enough for me, popped like my buds Wrangler which runs no cat no muffler dumped.

This next exhaust change is risky enough for me, if I ever get the funds to do it.
