What sounds better

Just gave my son my 2004 ford f150 4x4 hes wanting to put duals on it should I go with flowmaster or magna flow and what size pipe is best?

Lucky kid, watch some videos on youtube and decide what sound you like best. If you just want to run a single pipe setup i would run 3" from the Y-pipe into whatever muffler you decide on with a nice 3.5" or 4" tip on the end. If you want to run true duals stay with 2.25" for more low end power or 2.5"

Yea I am going to go with true duals should I come out behind the rear tire or out the back? Thanks for the youtube advise good idea.

that's preference- make sure it's mandrell bent, if you are investing in duals-might as well be done RIGHT.

Just keep the pipe size down to 2.25 for low end torque, and have either an X or H-pipe.
