2006 5.4 upgrades

Uncertain about what exhaust to install. Have heard good things about MagnaFlow. Dont' want anything too loud or "Redneckish". Any suggestions? 2006 XLT 5.4 supercab. Edge Evo programmer, K&N 57 series CAI. Also, anyone had problems w/ the Edge Evo programmer? Have had "weird things" happen when programmed to stage 3.

Magnaflow is nice. I like the Roush off-road its manufactured by borla. Corsa is also another nice system but it cost ALOT of $$. These trucks sound good with straight thru mufflers. Or you can go to true duals. Flowmasters are to cheap and raspy, and the construction of the system does not last.

I went through the same thing when I bought my truck new in 2006. Went with Magnaflow and have been very happy. Sounds like a truck should sound.

14" maggie or Roush off Road. The super 44 sounds nice tho as well. Get borla if you can afford the muffler. XR1

Decided to go with the Magna-Flow. Cat-back, stainless, duals, installed for under $550. Got to go for what a working man can afford. But as far as I can determine, still a very good product....Thoughts anyone?
Also think I send my Evo to the folks a PHP and let them have a "crack" at it.......

With these trucks and CAI's I wouldn't want to run the risk of running it on edge's level 3. Send it off to PHP and get it upgraded to a gryphon with custom tunes to accomidate for the CAI.

Good choice on the Magnaflow kit. It will have a low rumble, comes with the 18" body muffler.
