Air intake??
If i am going to get in the mud should I put an intake or just maybe a k&n?

intake shouldn't matter unless you plan on going swimming... then you need a snorkel.

imo do the gott's mod and dropin k&n up to about 18-24 inches of mudd&h2o over that deep add snorkel and more lift's,tires,ect.

I've since started using oilless highflow filters... but they are not for everyone

Enclosed always performs better since it draws in colder air. Gotts intake will perform the same at fractions less for the cost.
