i did this on my 2001 and it was the biggest headache ive ever been thru. the clamps kept comin loose all the time and it sounded HORRIBLE. i had to reclamp it several times. finally just yesterday i got a family friend to weld them all up and now it was worth it in the end, but if you cant get it welded i would never do it again. just some advice to seriously think about.

-it sounded horrible bc the exhaust was leakin straight out of the right side cat. now that its all sealed it sounds incredible

Mine was pretty leak free, with the flanged adapters, but I did end up getting them welded shut and noticed a little bit more go-power so I must have had some mild leaks.

^ So your saying that you welded an exhaust leak so small that you couldn't even hear it, and you gained power

You do realize instead of doing the ^ stuff you can also quote? Just throwing it out there

And no, I had one on the left bank I could hear slightly, it was just a tiny bit quieter than the noisey cam phasers so it wasn't too noticeable, but it felt only a tiny bit better on the very low rpm moving like moving from a parking space, felt a little bit stronger. Nothing like average acceleration and power.
