2005 Lariat Only Two Cats?

I bought an 05 f-150 lariat 2 years ago. Ive been looking into getting exhaust and been trolling these forums looking for suggestions. Ive learned that they have a 4 cat system and i was looking to delete at least two of them. When i looked udner my truck i only have two. I live in canada and i was wonering if this is normal for Canadian trucks or if someone deleted it before me?

Some 05s came from the factory with two cats and some came with four. Depends on when it was assembled. The 4 cat models came first then the 2. Think the break point was the first of the year. More knowledgeable people on here than myself can help you figure out if the prior owner(s) deleted two of them.

Correct. All the trucks built January 2005+ have only two cats, but they are larger, still a better system than the previous 4 cat system.

2004+ V6s always had only 2 cats.
