I've been had

I had brought my Hooker Max flo to get welded up several weeks ago... the muffler itself was a complete letdown, but it was my choice, suffer til I get a bullet on there... Well anyway, the guy said he couldnt do duals out the rear cause of the hitch, it would look silly, cool, set it up temporary until the tips get in, turn downs.. ok.. Welds it up, dual out the back, outside of the receiver. looks like junk, shotty welds, horrible hangers that broke the next day, had to use welding wire to hang the system up, just aweful craftsmenship...

go in today to get tips on, got em on, one is sticking outside of the tire, other is tucked like behind the tire....

I tell him, old greek guy(i know, i know, I shoulda walked away before i even dealt business), kinda gets a little upset i tell him the tips are way off... ok, whatever. put its back in the air, cuts the one tip off, the one sticking outside of the tire, the one i wanted to stay like that, just bring the other out to match. expands it to fit deeper onto the tailpipe, asks me if its good.. well the trucks up in the air, I cant tell, your the experts, I dont do exhaust, hence the reasoning im paying someone else to do my system cause i cant... tentions are high, it looked good, I just wanted out, I hate confrontations... all welded up, bill was $87 for the tips and install... threw a hundo on the counter and left....

if you want something done right, you must do it yourself....

next item on list of tool to buy- $30,000 mandrel pipe bender..

It does look good...might be better if tips were straight out though.I have to admit I got a good laugh out out your story...I have been there...you pay good money and the craftmanship is horrible...it happened with the deck on my house...I still cringe when I see it up close.

Looks OK to me.

You're the one who tipped the guy. If anything you had yourself.
