CAI & Mileage

Just wanted to see what kind of MPG's you guys were seeing with a CAI (with or without a programmer). I'm currently get 13 city 14 Hwy...Right now I'm running 35 MT's &Gryphon with canned tunes and stock gears.....I'm wanting on my custom tune to come in from PHP so I can put my CAI on. Anyone have any idea what kind of MPG's I should expect with the custom tune & CAI. I know this question is pretty hard to answer if you've never had this exact setup...but I wanted to ask any way...

Thanks guys....

Cai

CAI intake system is a performance upgrade system which can not provide you a good mileage.

None. Without a tuner, it just makes noise. If you have an 04-05 5.4, you'll be hurting your performance without a tuner.

You have the exact set-up I do. 35in mt's, Cold Air Intake, and Gryphin canned tunes. I get about what your getting. Usually a shade over 12 mpg in the city and on the highway it jumps up to 14-15 mpg. You won't experience an increase or decrease in gas. Just the throttle response will be a little better.

I have the OEM cold air intake (unmodified) and I've been getting 20.4-22.6 mpg on highway and 17-19 mpg around the small town I live in. Too much right foot action and it will drop into 16's.
