Well, TBH I am not exactly sure what is on it, I did help fab the pipes and mock them all up, I think its NOT a FM though, but for $200 for a SI/DO I as good as it sounds I can't complain.

Finally got the new smell burnt off, everyone has noticed how good it sounds.

I will try to take a video when I can.

Thats cool, should take a picture of it and feel or any embedded name markings on the case. We all love discovering a mystery muffler.

I went to 4 places shopping around, the first place wanted $350 or more to do just a new muffler and pipe, and I would have no say in it at all, he told me there was only one way to do duals on that tuck.

The second place I went to didn't want to touch it, said the only way to do it was a SI/SO because duals won't work on that truck.

the third place said that the spare would have to be removed for duals.

The last place was the cheapest and allowed me to fab the exhaust up how I wanted it, after giving me some advice, but he was also the same person to fix my mustang after I totaled it, and he knows my dad.

one tip is a little off, but its NBD, because I did it how I wanted it.

Glad it worked out for you. I hate hearing about ****y/bossy shops that will only do it their way. I have 2.5" true duals with my choice of mufflers and tips exiting how I want and my shop didn't give me any grief at all, thats how it should be. And duals will fit with the spare, and are legal in every way.

Yeah, the place I had it done at said he could do one on each side, and he has its just $50 for the labor because of the extra bending as opposed to doing both on one side, but I think it looks more like a stock setup with both on the right side.

Worse comes to worse and that muffler dies or goes bad/rotted or what not, a FM SI/DO the same inlet and outlet size would go right back in place.

I will look and see what if any markings it has on it, later.

There are a few different "no name" companies that make knock of Flowmasters, so it is really hard to figure out which one it is. You might be able to run the numbers on it, if it has any.

It really doesn't matter though, as long as you like the tone!

Yeah, it sounds good to me, and several others have said its got a nice sound to it, not too loud not quiet.
Its just about right.

worse comes to worse, I can replace it with a real Fm of the same in/out size.

They make most of their mufflers in t-409 now too, so if that happens the next time you change will be the last one for awhile.
