I just installed my Magnaflow siso on my 09 F150. As I'm laying under my new muffler with my feet towards the engine I have the out on my left. But should it be on the right? The picture in the directions tells you nothing, so I looked at how the oem muffler was in there...again the out was on my left. Any help would be appreciated.

 

I am pretty sure that it doesn't matter on the magnaflow mufflers.

 

if its a straight through muffler it wont matter.

 

My only concern with themuffler position is with the pipe coming off the muffler. It does not go into the hanger all the way...otherwise everything else fits fine.

 

hmm, if it fits then that is how its supposed to fit. Magnaflow has had some issues with their 2009 kits. Apparently this model Ford did change under neath up some.

 

I did call Magnaflow to find out the exact positioning of the muffler...there is a certain way it is designed to go in for my vehicle. I now need to go change it. This is for part #16518 by the way. Thanks for everyones help.
