Dynatech-Magnaflow Install Question

So i spent sunday afternoon as well as the last two evenings installing my Dynatech headers and a Magnaflow SISO catback. Everything went as well as could be expected (20 hours total using only basic hand tools in the driveway).

I ran into a slight problem though. Turns out they expect you to use reuse the factory mid pipe between the y form the cats to the cat back system. I was not expecting this and had already thouwn everything in the dumpster. So, does anyone know the pipe size comming off the Y on the dynatech system? And what would be a good length to start with (assuming buy long and cut to length)? I want to pick up a pipe on the way home from work and this informaton would be a great help.

Should be 2.5", but I would get 3" because thats what your Magnaflow kit will flange out to be. Measure it yourself and see.
