As for the cats that may be exactly what I do. I want it louder but not OMG Looks at me. I hear dodges when I sit in the gym parking lot while I eat my lunch before I workout and they sound great at cruise. I want a similar volume and I think 25% will do the trick. It will give it more growl and that is all I want. It is amazing how loud it has gotten tho. She growl nicely on the roads on campus. There is a hilly one and I do 1400rpms at 20-25mph and she is so deep. A few people have turned to look I helped a friend mov"man that's pretty loud... I always thought loud vehicles had something wrong with them." So 94306... gotta remember that
lol yeah. I would probably try something different though. If I have a high truck payment I would probably skip on a Borla XR-1 which is what I really wanna do. Since it would have two OEM cats and 09+ are quite loud I'd have a 3" Bullet mounted on the 2.75" midpipe and have a Y pipe with 2.5" tailpipes out 45'd exactly how my '04 is. With the long Supercrew cab & 6'5 bed it would sound nice. Or I might put a Flowmaster in it, never know. My taste is like a *****, it'll do anything if the price is right . This '10 Supercrew with a 40 Delta sounds so awesome. You cant get a 04 - 08 to sound this good with only a muffler swap, even the louder 06 - 08s.

If you dont remember 94306 I will, just lemme know, I have like 18 Magnaflow part #s memorized

Thanks guys. Since I'm only after a nice little noticeable difference with a single out....I'll prolly end up with the oval one.

Another question: What size oval would I need to do a direct weld-in?

Thanks

Any model will work. I'll suggest you the 18" oval.

Thanks, Gotta decide where to do a bolt on kit I can do in my garage or buy the pieces and have it welded up like I did on my mustang.

Buying the bolt together cat-back will be a bit more expensive, but your also buying the luxury of being able to un-bolt it anytime, and buying t-409 stainless pipes. PerformancePeddler.com should have a well priced kit. All Magnaflow cat-backs come with 18" body mufflers so you just need to find the SI/SO kit that kits your truck specs on Magnaflow.com, get the part #, and go to performance peddler to search for it and make them a reasonable offer. $380 - $460 is a really good price for the kit.

Performancepeddler.com is pretty sweet. I offered something crazy low and got an email back stating 428.00 for the kit. Im sure its automated, but not a bad price at all.
