I had a set, they aren't that small. These guys say it's 3", and that seems like what I remember.

The OBX full LT header sets are 2.5" from the collector.

It kind of aggravates me that racingpartsdepot is selling the OBX LT's part number H10971 - the ones that really only fit the 2wd although the ad says it fits both 2wd/4wd for $229 and the H11455S that we've come to find out that are the ones that really fir the 4wd for $525. Is there really that much difference to justify the $300 difference? Guess I'll be going to sparktec and get them for $475.

I've searched around and it seems that racingpartsdepot has a bad wrap on other forums too for mis representing their products, and when they don't work, giving the customer a hard time with returns.

They're complete and utter **** pumps. Like I mentioned earlier in this thread, they gave me the wrong headers for my 4x4 and it was like pulling teeth to even get a response. I ended up getting ebay and paypal involved to get my $ back (minus the return shipping )

The drivers side collector is directly in the same place as the front drive line. I had an issue with the passenger side hitting the bellhousing of the trans, but a little heating up and fanagling with a ratchet strap would've fixed that.

Good to know, I'll be ordering a set with resonators that I will be replacing with magnaflow cats.
Just to be safe, the y-pipe is 2.5" too.....right?

Has ANYONE or does anybody know SOMEONE who is using the Stainless Works LTs? I'm trying to get some feedback on the system, but haven't seen anyone who is using it. I have an inquiry in with a SW rep, so I'll see if that turns up anything, but I'd rather have input from an unsolicited source.

The American Racing LT users are rare as well, but at least I found one guy using them on a S/C'ed 5.4 and he swears by them.

Any help would be appreciated.

Does anyone know where I can find Lt headers with high flow cats for a 05 f150 5.4L 3v fx4. I can find LT without cats, but would like cats.

You'll get cat inefficiency codes with the catted version (trust me, I got codes).

I'm adding maggy cats, I have an Edge CS and plan on getting a tune from PHP. I should be kosher with this setup, no?

Did you guys remove the trans crossmember when removing the OEM y-pipe? I'm not saving mine, and was going to recycle my cats anyway....so I thought I'd just cut it out in like 4 or 5 pieces to save a little bit of time.

I just had a set of American Racing catted headers installed (1.75" primaries, 3" collector) with 2.5" pipe going into two FMs. I actually haven't gotten to see or hear the system (out of the country), but from what I'm told the headers are EXCELLENT quality. We're still working on getting a sound I like, but I have no doubt it will be sweet when complete.

If I ever get any good pics, I'll post them here.
