does obx make a header set for a 4wd? i searched around, found a company that claimed it was for a 4wd, ran a search on the part number and came up with nothing, Fatherford, did you stumble across any 4wd kits in your searches?

Pacesetter & OBX make LT headers for 2wd & 4wd, on Pacesetter the part numbers are diffrent for the 2wd & 4wd models. OBX headers might also have diffrent part number also for 2wd & 4wd. I'll be ordering my headers for my 06 4x4, I let you know how it works out.
On ebay it says OBX headers will only fit the 4wd model so you would need a diffrent part number for 2wd OBX.

The only real difference on 4wd and 2wd headers is the collector length, 4wds are shorter due to the transfer case, I would imagine the 4wd headers would fit a 2wd just as well, though I could be false.

Dynatech also has different part numbers for 4x2 and 4x4.
Best headers on the market come from American Racing and Kooks hands down!! However, they dont make headers for our trucks. Dynatech is up there with Kooks and American Racing in terms of quality. The price posted up above really isnt that bad for a set of Longtube Headers. I paid way more than that for the LTs on my vette and GTO.
Correction they do:

Definitely the cheapest i've seen LTs go for. Bummer they'll only last 1 month.

Those aren't cats that come with the OBX's, those are resonators. You will need to trash those and buy the Magnaflow cats.

There's nothing wrong with the resonators, but it deletes the catalytic converters. It depends on individual state laws, but deleting cats could make your truck illegal. It's illegal here in Louisiana, but I have yet to see anyone look under any vehicle for the annual inspection and we don't do emission testing.... yet.
