yup, friday means payday. went down to the local exhaust store and got a glasspack muffler and a new 3.5 in tip. looks and sounds really good IMO. just wondering if anyone knows how long glasspacks take to wear in to be their loudest? i can get some pics or a movie if anyone wants to see it looks or sounds.

 

couple months maybe. i didnt pay much attention to mine when i had it on my ranger but i know it had a real good sound when it was new, then sounded like crap when it broke in

I hate the sound of glasspacks personally, a real muffler sounds so much better, but its all sound preference and only you can decide on that one.

 

I'm not a fan of glasspacks either, but your preference indeed. It's not like it will blow it up! LOL

I actually had a Red Hot glasspack on my old '90 F150 w/351w and thought it sounded awesome... deep and aggressive.

 

ill get a sound clip but im waiting on my mom to get home from ohio cause shes got the camera
