3" cat back with Bullet, dumped?

Hey guys,

Right now I'm thinking of going with 3" Cat-back with a dynomax bullet and dumped right before axle. now what Im wondering is, how will this sound? ('01 5.4 scab 6 inch fab-tech and 3" body lift. On 16's with either 35's or 38's. I want it to be nearly as loud as it can get, but none of that crackly, bad sounding stuff. Is straight piped dumped in the same position a possibility? if so how would it sound?

Next question, what would I need to do this, other than the bullet?

Judging by this page-http://www.summitracing.com/search/year/2001/make/FORD/model/F-150-PICKUP/Department/Exhaust/Section/Exhaust-Pipes-Flanges-Turn-Downs/Engine-Size/5-4L-330/?Ns=Rank|Asc

Im lost in-between intermediate pipes and tailpipes, ect. what do I need?

thanks guys and sorry if these are common questions, Im still a little new to the truck game.

We from dynomax thank you for your inquiry. First off, are you looking just for a single pipe system? Still keeping the stock converters? If so, all you need to do is have a shop change the pipe from the y back to 3", in and out of the bullet And you can either dump it in front of the Axle (chepeat route) or I would suggest either dumping it over the axle to geta better tone, or side exit in front of te rear tire. Your Mos def lookig at some drone, but the sound outside the truck will be excellent. The bullets don't crack. They are deep and have that deep pop when revved to the limiter. Check out my 2 videos on YouTube
when I had my system out the side. So all u need to do is change the piping from the y back to 3" and ur set. (I'm talking about right when the two rear converters connect they form a y in the pipe. Right when thT pipes goes into a single pipe that's where you change the diameter to 3". The best way to get the most and best sound out of the bullet I've found is side exit before the rear tire. Just be prepared for some drone but it sounds wicked

If you want it to seem loud (to you) dump it.

If you want it to be loud, run the exhaust with a "real" exit.
