Wait to add roush intake?

hey everyone. i hope this question doesn't seem dumb but i want to order a roush intake for my 08 stx. I have done a lot of research on them, but my one question is should i wait a little bit before i install it? The reason i ask is because i only have 10,000 miles on my truck. I'm not sure if i should wait until its out of warranty or just has more miles on it..

Thanks in advance for any help or input from everyone

It wont void your warranty, only for your intake, though if youb engine was to fail they would try blaming it on the aftermarket intake.

That's not always true... I ordered my CAI, third party, from the local dealership and asked they checked it out and the cold air intake will not affect your warranty...

Thats good, its pretty rare in my area atleast to find dealers willing to approve of aftermarket intakes.

Isnt Roush stuff... idk the words I wanna use but basically allowed by ford without voiding any warranty? Although now that I think about it they would probably require the dealer to install it.

Each dealer is going to answer it differently. It is strictly up to the dealer and how they report any problem to Ford.
