Every one is just going to tell you to get flow master or magnaflow true duals with no catz.

P.S. - With 2.5 or 3" piping with like 18" or 21" tips!

I think ive read on here before most people support short headers, just alot easier to install, well more horse power and torch, i would defantly do straight piping hten with a x pipe, or at least straight piping wiht glass packs to pass emissions(like having no catz would pass), just saying.

Dynatech LT headers with catted Y pipe, Roush cat-back or Magnaflow cat-back.

No no no, wrong wrong wrong!

Short tube headers offer no performance improvements, and the only plus is that they are easier to install. If you are going to put in the effort to swap headers, LT's are the only way to go.

Also, straight pipes with hi-flow cats are only slightly less trashy than straight pipes with no cats. Anything with glasspacks are a close 3rd.

The best set up for power and torque would be:
- Long tube headers
- Hi-flow cats
- X-pipe
- 2.25 mandrel bent pipes
- Straight-through muffler (nothing with chambers or baffles)
- What ever you want for an exit

Seeing as you live in PA, you will need stainless steel headers. Dynatech makes a good set, just buy the headers and have a shop fab up the rest of the exhaust. You might want to have them use stainless pipes as well.

Hi-flow cats - http://www.performancepeddler.com/de...CT_ID=MAG94006
X-pipe - http://www.performancepeddler.com/de...CT_ID=MAG10790

You'll have to find an online store that sells just the headers and not the full $1500 kit.

The muffler and tip choice is up to you.

haha your getting all antsy! You dont need a kit. Do you have any idea what kind of sound you are wanting? On a level of 1-10 (10 be straight pipe no muffler loud) how loud do you want? do you want raspy/aggressive (flowmaster, SLP, Corsa) or do you want deep and aggressivish (Magnaflow, dynomax, Borla). There are a FEW kits out there that are really nice, but a little more expensive to buy vs. buying the muffler (s) and Tip (s) and having a shop weld everything together. Roush Off road, MBRP, and you can even buy a kit from Borla, Flowmaster, Corsa, Magnaflow, virtually any company sells a catback kit. They are easier to install, without dealing with a shop and ordering parts and what not, but it is an expensive alternative.

the smaller the muffler, the louder it will be. You live in PA, so you would without a doubt go with a high quality stainless steel muffler/system. 14" magnaflow or a Borla Turbo Muffler would give you the sound your looking for, Borla being the most expensive, but the BEST quality you can get, like Dynatech Headers.

If your going with a Single in Single Out system, Upgrade your stock piping from the Y back to 3", which will help you gain the best HP, TQ, and sound. If your wanting the best gains from a system, a TRUE DUAL system is what you want. Pipe size for a True dual system is 2.25", meaning you will want 2 2.5" mufflers installed, an X pipe or H pipe to help balance flow and scavenging, and whatever exit you like. Ha, I know this is a lot of information, but theres a lot to know, other than "just sticking a flowmaster on there and calling it quits".

so break it down. Do you want a single in single out system, single in Dual out, Dual in dual out, or True Duals (no Y pipe; 1 pipe coming off each catalytic converter. weve got the sound down, so i would start listening to videos to see what you like. 14" magnaflow, Borla Turbo mufflers, 18" magnaflow, or Borla Turbo XL mufflers, and anything else anyone can come up with. how do you want to exit the system? that depends on what type you go with. SISO, SIDO, DIDO, or true dual. different exits will create different tones and different drone (noise in the cab) so thats up to you. Start with 1 thing, make a choice on that, and then go to the next thing.

Did you say you already have headers, or you are looking to get headers? either way, an 18" magnaflow or Borla Turbo XL muffler will be a good choice.

Then we have the topic on catalytic converters..WHOOPS! why did i even mention that? im just gonna confuse you more

You want kits...............headers back..........

Try this

http://www.troyerperformance.com/cgi...no=122-622100s

That will get your headers and catz

Then hook this to it:

http://www.borla.com/applications/lo...System/140136/

(you may want to double check this part ##.....not sure if you have scab/screw or you bed size, etc.)

There......2 kits. Done!!
