2009-2010 F-150 ROUSH OFF ROAD Exhaust

Get this.....I just bought a 2009 F-150 FX4 SuperCrew 5.4L V8. Anyway I've been looking to buy an exhaust kit. I really had my heart set on ROUSH. I've searched to the end of the internet including ROUSH's website and can't find one for the 2009's. Their website only show's exhaust kits up to 2008....so I emailed their customer service department. They told me that the market isnt what it use to be for the F-150 and there aren't any plans to manufacture an exhaust kit for the 2009-2010.

?....has anyone tried installing a 2005-2008 kit? P/N 401593 SI/DO OFF ROAD. How much of a difference could there be? Hanger's in a different location...different bend. I don't know. Any info would be much appreciated!

You could just go to a muffler shop and just have it made, just a thought.

That's depressing... I think we should try to make a petition or something to get them to at least make the mufflers. I would have bought one if it was reasonably priced. Roush looses so much business because not everyone wants a kit. I hate duals straight out the back but being able to buy the muffler for 70-100 bones would be awesome. Then switching the material on the systems... stupidity IMO

I swear to god it is, i'll bet my life on it. Borla makes Ford Racing, and Roush exhausts.

and true duals and probably 11" bodies. The 14" is a bit too big compared to the Roush Off-Road's 9" body muffler to have a comparable note.

There is a member on here with a 2009 or 2010 that has the roush off road on his truck. You would have to search for it. I am pretty sure he had no issues installing it?
As far as roush goes. If you search you will read of my month long wait for the kit and then how roush changed the piping to 409 stainless instead of 304 without changing the price and also how they changed the kit in general from what was known and advertised. So it does not surprise me that they are not caring about making stuff. The part I don't get is if the roush off road is so popular for the 04-08's and was on back order for me so long because of that also then doesn't roush think that when we all trade our trucks in for the 09 and up models we may still want the same exhaust.. the kit has the best reviews by its owners I ever read on a cat-back. Overall i think roush is just plain stupid and apparently doesn't want to make a good kit and make any money anymore. I was close to telling roush to stick it a few times the past month. Overall though I got the kit, got it cheaper, and love the sound. There is no other kit I would go with for my truck.
Borla makes the muffler only. The rest is made buy a company in canada and shipped to roush where it is boxed up for sale.
I got simple bolt on kit which is alot easier to do then building your own, but it was mostly due to the fact that there is no places to do exhausts around me anywhere unless I wanted napa crap with monkey bends and welds.
Roushs decisions with the kit is just plain stupid in my opinion.
there is pictures of mine in my gallery also.

Also if your still interested, I got the kit on e-b-a-y for 450.00+40 s/h through Lance Cunningham ford and they ended up being extremely good to deal with, I dealt with Butch Smith in the parts dept. he is the one who does the auctions. The kit should be in stock with them as they got alot more when mine came in.
I personally looked under the 2010's and the stock exhaust looks no different for anything then my 05 except there is a plate covers the spare time for a heat shield so I'd think you would be fine. Lance Cunningham will return it if you buy it and it doesn't fit, it just cant be installed so if you buy it just lay it out under the truck and compare it should be easy..

Appreciate the info...Bought a Borla Pro XS 3"single in/2.5"dual out muffler and had a local muffler shop weld it in for me. Not a stainless steel system but I'm still pleased with the sound and end result.

The older ROR 304 stainless systems were made by Borla. Now Borla only makes the muffler unit.
