Flowmaster
PS--I'm just saying I chose FLOWMASTER. I'm not saying it's any better than anything else. Just listen to some sound clips and find what you like.

Magnaflows sound deeper, Flowmasters have a more aggressive bark.

All I can say is I had a Flowmaster 40 on my 05 Yukon 5.3L. Sounded awesome! The Mrs. said it was too LOUD and I had to go get a 50 series. I'll NEVER admit to her that she was right about the 40 being too loud, but it was because of the drone. I just got a 03 SCREW 5.4L and plan on putting a Magnaflow on. From the You Tube videos I've watched I like their sound versus the Flowmaster. I would like to find someone with the Cherry Bomb muffler. No, not the glasspacks, but the actual muffler they make. I remember a TRUCKS episode when Stacy David was host where they outflowed a "major popular brand"....and from seeing the case of that muffler it looked to be a Flowmaster. I personally want MPGs/performance first then sound. You're never wrong if you get what YOU like---DirtySCREW

My first muffler was a Flow 40 SI/DO sounded good at idle and when you mashed down it was loud but had an aggravating drone inside the cab at about 40mph. It rusted out in about 3 yrs and then went with a 18" Magnaflow stainless steel SI/DO, not as loud at idle compared to the Flow 40 but no drone in the cab and when you mash down it's as loud as the Flow 40. I'd have to give the edge to the Maggie mainly for the deeper tone and less noise inside the cab.
