yea ive seen these, i think patman got one for his silver truck on there, 25 bucks total 2.5" works well for him last i heard

 

Meh...I paid the extra and got a Maggie X-pipe for peace of mind. There's always the chance something might happen. I feel better off trying to get an exchange from Magnaflow over a 3rd party. I'm sure you'd be fine with it, though.

 

I'm not really in the market for an x-pipe, just thought this was a low price for 304 stainless. I think magnaflow uses 409.

 

Bought a few parts like this from ebay. All worked in the past but you still make a good point about the warranty issue.
