Hi folks, nothing fancy about my 97 f150, 4.6. Just my old dependable work horse, kinda like an old dog...... Anyway enough of the foolishness... Normally at startup when engine is cold rpm is up and it sounds like a turbo fan jet engine for the first few minute till warm up. few days ago, dorve 30 mi to work, came out end of day and now, same type of startup only it sounds like the muffler is off , quiets down in short order then finally runs as quiet as normal. Dose this sound familiar to anyone here? Any adivice appreciated!
