Exhaust project done

Well I finally did something about the stock exhaust. I bought 2 magnaflow mufflers for $50!! Got to love craigslist....I ended up just dumping it right before the axle. Used a 18" exhaust tubing i got at autozone and pieces of the stock exhaust. I had to mach everything up at home and then take all the pieces to work and weld them up, luckily the hanger matched up perfect. I'm a little disappointed that the maggie isn't very loud at all. All in all 58 bucks isn't a bad price for a better exhaust.

magnaflows arent loud. there just deep, clean sounding quality muffler. what size is it anyway? did you change all the piping from the Y back to 3"?

The muffler is 14"x9"x4" 2.5"in/out. The tubing i kept stock size 2.5" all the way back. I"m going to eventually get some hi-flow cats possible banks shorty headers. Do you think banks Shorties would make them a little louder? I'll post some audio clips on here later today....

Shorty headers will increase sound a bit but really don't do anything for performance... Longtubes are your best bet. Magnaflow hi flows would make a big difference in sound... I think their loudest ones are 94106.

I see something to give me more sound and power in my near future, and I made a mistake it's 2.75" tubing
