2003 FX4 5.4 high flow cats

I was wondering if any of you had any problem w/ 0-2 sensors throwing check engine codes after getting rid of you factory cats? Mine has four, 2 on each side. I have shorty headers on it already, will I decrease the back pressure enough w/ Magna-flow hf's to even notice a difference in power. What should I expect to pay from the exhaust shop getting two high flows and exhaust from the header back to my gibson exhaust? Please Advise.

you have 2 pre cats which are monitored by an Air:fuel ratio sensor. that sensor is between the end of the headers and pre cats on each side. you then have 2 rear cats, which have 02 sensors plugged into them. ive got an 03 too. shorties are weak. they will only give you about 5 hp/5tq gain. best option for you is to cut out the 2 pre cats and 2 rear cats, and replace with 2 magnaflow high flow cats 94106. Put the 02 sensors in AFTER the high flows.

how would it be wrong? had cats put on, cleared the code, came back on, changed the 02 sensors, cleared the code, came back on, did the gotts mod, code went off by itself

Thats the point of the Gotts mod, it elliminates the CEL by reading a false exhaust gas measurement.

As for your CEL issues, not sure I guess, is your truck have the LEV package ( California emissions )? Those trucks sensors are super sensitive compared to 49 state. But fact of the matter is, theres a gazillion people who have done the hi-flow cat swap and rear sensors re-mounted after them and they have never reported a CEL.
