Best CAI for '05 KR

All,

I have a buddy who has an '05 King Ranch that is in the market for a CAI kit. What would be the best kit for this truck and where would be the best place to get it from? I'm open for all suggestions.

It's a 5.4L motor... Lots of opinions out there but, I really like my Air Force One.

Also, going to move (with redirect) up to CAI

Good intake RP, but since they went out of business it is a struggle to find them. Maybe ebay?

Mine was on there a couple times for $150, but luckily no one took advantage and I ended up getting another 06' and the first day I brought it home I put the AF1 on it

X2 on the AF1.

It'll be hard to find, but worth it.

I just bought used '05 KR and it has an Air force one

......when starting from dead takeoff ...to the floor the engine sarts cutting out and sounds lke it is knocking. It eventually smoothes out, and check engine light will go off after flashing.

Its because your running lean. You need to get a tuner to fix the issue before it becomes a major problem.

I did the "Gotts" style mod to mine and couldn't be happier with the results. Best part is it cost less than $10 - no problems with it making the engine run lean because it doesn't disturb the MAF sensor environment.

Here's a link to the "how-to" for it: https://www.f150online.com/forums/ar...04-2008-a.html
