Question Ram-Air Intake??

Hey, I have a ram-air hood on my truck (Suncoast-24005B) and I've been trying to find the matching K&N Intake, but all I can find is the Suncoast intake. I would much rather use K&N and I know I found it back when I bought the hood, just can't seem to find it now. If anyone has any idea, let me know! Thanks

If it helps...

You might have to use a standard K&N intake, and fab up your own heat shield to take full advantage of the hood.

thats what I was thinking i might have to do. I know nothing about intakes tho, so would i have to fully inclose it to the intake opening in the hood or leave some open?

I had a suncoast ss hood on my camaro. The camaro airbox kit from suncoast came w/ a k&n filter and sealed great. The inside of air box was very smooth and emilinated the factory box that had all the baffles. May not be same as one's for the truck.

i have the jlt intake and i love it but you will have to get the sct tuner to go with it because your motor has to be tuned to use the intake or this one is pretty neat

might want to look into the rubber trash can heat shield, you can do it yourself and it'll look great if you take your time
