I put a SI/DO Magnaflow on my 03 Screw. It does sound good as far as the tone but I want more sound. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being obnoxiously loud, I would rate this Magnaflow as a 2. I suspect the 4 cats are shutting this sound down so what next? I am thinking of going to a Y pipe and no muffler or maybe a VX muffler that my friend's shop carries. What about a glass pack? Will the Y pipe setup be what I want or should I still try to have a muffler on this truck? What will give me a sound rating of like a 7 or 8 on a scale of 10?I am looking for more sound than the Maggie but not trying to become obnoxious to others in the process. I do have a CAI on the truck too. Suggestions?

i have a vx series muffler on my truck, its nothing more than a knockoff flowmaster. i like the sound of muffler deletes on the modular fords. but you'll lose some bottom end torque if you delete the muffler. the dynomax bullet sounds real nice on the modulars as well. IMO glasspacks are for old cars from like the 50's. i'd either delete the rear cats or go with a bullet.
