Intake air temp sensor 2005 F150

I just picked up a performance module, and it should be wired in to the IAT sensor. I am not sure of the location of the sensor, and could use a little help finding it. Any help, guys?

its mounted on the intake tube between the MAF and the TB

where did you order the "performance module" from?

Those are usually just a resistor that lies to the computer about the air temperature coming in, and makes the vehicle think the air is colder then it is, so the computer allows more fuel into the engine. Doesnt really help performance, just hurts your economy.

It is a BOSS module, and they say it is not just a resistor. 35-45 hp, and about 3-5 mpg. I have a 4.6L V8.

good luck with that. Dont you think that if all Ford had to do was add in a little "module" that increases horse power by 15-20% that they would be doing it already?

I believe what the module will do is to lower the air intake temp data that the pcm receives. So, the pcm will see lower temps and add timing, etc. Not a good game to play.

'05 F150 4.6L and IAT location

I have a module that is supposed to work better connected to the Intake Air
Temp. sensor. I could use a clear definition of the location, and maybe a site where a good clear picture is? Any help from this group would be appreciated.
