Congrats man on your set-up! It wouldn't be the x pipe hurting the sound... we have 4 cats which croak sound. Maybe eventaully a set of hi-flows if you want more sound?

The "woosh" sound is the 4 cats. Hi-flows would cure that. Sounds good none the less.

I'm planning on getting Bullets this fall, so that just gave me a little taste of what i'min for, just a bit louder since I deleted the rear cats ( and the pre-cats are pretty much like Magnaflow hi-flows, no resonation, just catalyst ).

Sounds amazing man, would love to hear a drive off and flty-by video.

If you can get inspected with just two cats get some Magnaflow 94306 cats installed. If not, remove the rears and get the 94106 model cats mounted inplace of the rears.

well, I had for the last year a FlowMaster 40 series SI/SO, and I was not happy, as i sound it like crap...

so with the help of this forum, i got the following modification done:

MAGNAFLOW 5x8x14" SI/DO SATIN SS
SIDE EXIT (LIKE THE ROUSH) AHEAD OF REAR AXLE
DUAL 3.5"x 18" CHROME TIPS @ 45 DEGREE ANGLED
3" PIPE FROM "Y" AT CATBACK TO THE MANGAFLOW
DUAL 2.5" FROM THE MAGNAFLOW TO TIPS

and this not only has the sound been improved 100%, but the performance of the truck got better.

anyone want to buy a USED Flowmaster 40 Series?
