quick crossover question

right now i am planning on getting an h pipe(for sound) or having one made for my truck when i do the true duals. i was looking at the oxygen sensor and what not and kinda wondered if the little tube that its put in could be used as a good h pipe crossover?

if not then its all good but i figured it'd be cheaper and less work to be done.
thanks for any help

Nope, that pipe is too small. The connecting pipe needs to be the same size as the rest of the exhaust.

And do not mount an O2 sensor in the cross over pipe. O2s belong right after the cats.

I'm not very familiar with the 9th gen truck exhausts, they are very different than the current setups, but for a custom re-done exhaust I would not mount a sensor in a cross over.

alright. and as far as the air pump goes, does magnaflow make any cats that dont require it or should i just go with 2 cats that have little air tubes on them? just want to make sure i do it right when i do it which should be within the next couple months if everything goes my way.
