Headers question

I realize this topic has probably been talked to death, but, here goes.

I need to have both of my manifolds taken off and replace the exhaust studs that are broken. I seen Edelbrock headers at Advance Auto for around $400. I figure, if they're coming off anyways, I might as well go stainless. I'm planning a full stainless system by years end anyways. OK, now for the question.

I don't have the time, tools, or motivation for that matter to tackle this. What could/should I be expecting price wise at a repair shop?

When I did my brakes last week, I hunted down the source of my "diesel engine tick" and found 3 broken pass. and thats what I could see, there may be more. 2 on the drivers side.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

At around $60 an hour you might expect to pay $240 for the headers installed. Probably less depending on laboring wages, and skill of the shop to knock it out in a sooner time.

Have a performance shop install them. They are usually specialized in header installation and can get it done quicker.
